Responsibilities : Design and implement some functional modules of OPUS project

Scope of Work: OPUS project

OPUS is a project managed by Schneider Electric Finance and Control Direction
Purpose: to align Schneider Electric performance measurement system with its strategy.
Four main project objectives are to :
*align Schneider Electric metrics to the Strategy
*answer controlling function stakes
*build a sustainable IS architecture
*be smart, lean, and evolutive
OPUS project functional scope covers both :
*General and Business management,
*Finance and control function
OPUS project covers the whole Schneider Electric geographical scope and it has been launched in Q4 2010 and will be running until mid-2013. It will deliver functionalities in 2012 and 2013

Internship organisation and contents :

*Intern will be given the responsibility to design some functional modules, among the topics listed below :
oConsolidated P&L performance measurement across geographical borders
oTarget setting and forecasting process
oBase costs allocations by Business models and product families
oOperating Cash-flows performance measurement by Business units
oProjects and solutions performance measurement

*Intern will address functional topics :
oLeveraging on functional contributors feed-backs on the challenges they face
Creating consensus around well articulated and documented solutions

*Intern will specify new processes and tools to support functional solutions :
oEnsuring Information System feasibility of chosen solutions
oWorking in close collaboration with System integrators

Intern will contribute to drive changes across the organization, on the functional modules he is responsible for :
oEmpowering the OPUS champions that represent Schneider Electric Finance function worldwide network
oProducing convincing training tools
Profil :
