Description of the Project Market Study and IT Solution of a new CS System – Compliance System Phases in the process: June 2008: Study of existing solutions in house and requirements specifications. Creation and delivery of a request for proposal to suppliers. July – August 2008: Reception of the suppliers of their return to our Request for Proposal. Assessment of the different proposals, compared to our requirements. Preparation and organisation of workshop. September 2008: Workshops and evaluation. Client visits. Final assessment of different solutions October/November 2008: Construction of a project chart for implementation of the chosen solution. December 2008: Start of Project, Kick Off. The final results of all research (RFI, RFP, Workshops, Client visits,…) have to be consolidated in order to come to an assessment which will lead to the eventual selection of a Compliance Server or a decision to develop internally a solution. The student can participate in doing in-depth comparisons of the market solutions on technical and functional requirements. This project (setting up and executing a market study and test scenarios) combines theory and practice, and gives, when desirable, the opportunity to write a dissertation.
