The position Your responsibilities will be to: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the Novo Nordisk objectives, focusing on production processes and systems. Lead the operation, improvement, and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure while minimizing downtime and disruptions. Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes, equipment, and software to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality, while driving cost reduction initiatives. Ensure that automation systems and processes adhere to regulatory standards, including cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and lead validation efforts for automated systems. Build and manage a high-performing automation team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of customer success and excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Suppliers, and global teams, to identify automation needs, resolve issues, and implement best practices. Identify and mitigate risks associated with automation systems, develop contingency plans, and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect critical data and infrastructure. Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices, and proactively implement innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes. Qualifications : You have a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in a leadership position in a production site, as well as excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships across the organization. You have a strong customer service mindset and behaviour and exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making. You speak fluent English and French and you have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You have demonstrated success in leading complex operations ensuring high engagement. You have a solid understanding of process optimization methodologies, statistical analysis, and Six Sigma principles, with the ability to apply them to manufacturing operations. About The Department You will join the IT team which supports production, and you will manage a team of 7 internal and 7 external people.
